N-Shape Personal Fitness Offers Pregnancy And Postpartum Training

by Anonymous

Raleigh, NC March 11, 2004 -- N-Shape Personal Fitness offers fitness and nutritional training to new mothers and mothers-to-be through a six-week program, which emphasizes the benefits of exercising and stretching while pregnant, which can result in easier delivery and faster weight loss after delivery. Mothers will learn how to modify existing fitness routines to their changing bodies, as well as learn new stretches and strength training techniques. Participants attend two 45-minute classes each week to learn pre and post-labor exercise techniques, as well as nutritional guidelines.

“It is important for women to know how to take care of themselves during this special time,” said Judy Gonzales, President. “We want to provide new mothers and mothers-to-be with information about how to stay in shape throughout pregnancy and how to shed the weight after labor.”

N-Shape Personal Fitness offers both adults and adolescents one-on-one and/or small-group training by utilizing strength and conditioning and cardiovascular principles. N-Shape develops customized programs that combine exercise and nutrition with mental wellness and relaxation techniques. Their fitness staff and health and wellness team includes certified personal trainers, weight management consultants, registered dieticians and doctors. For more information call (919) 846-9773.
